I had lunch last week at Sawadee. If you like Thai, it was quite good, with a nice atmosphere. Lunch special was about $7.50 and very filling.
I also like La Cai Noodle house on State Street around 950 south. Vietnamese dishes there are really good, but if you don't like Vietnamese, there is also a large Chinese menu. Very nicely decorated and fairly low priced.
I like Susie's idea! I guess it doesnt work as well for lunch though. Maybe you could do what I do and make Travis bring you in some slow roasted chicken or pork for lunch.

I hear good things about Pinon on 13th South and about 21st East. Also Lorenas is good in North Salt Lake. Have you tried Red Rock or Settebello?

How about eating at home for a change?

I can't remember restaurant names, so let me try to tell you where to find a few.
There's a good one over there by that street next to the street light across from the row of houses.
Another good one is about a half a mile and around the corner from that one mall. Look for the sign. It's easy to find and the food is delish.
